 Rapsody
Music Society was estabilished within Commerce and Tourism Education
Faculty in 7 November 2001.
It’s foundation by-law was prepared by Muharrem
TUNA; founder lecturer and thus the legal procedure has been completed. During
the first meeting the board of founders of 7 people and head of the society
were elected. Ersan Erol was decided to head the board of founders until
the first general assembly met.
 The
members of the band are the students of Commerce and Tourism Education
Faculty of Gazi University and the students of American and Lodging
Association of Gazi University Foundaditon.
The main objective of the society is to make
the youth like music, to offer music trainning and join various musical
activities.
In December the society’s activities started
and 2 groups of competent students were set. One of the groups is folk song
and the other one is pop and rock music. Their first performance is planned
to be realized during spring festivals.
